Overview

These terms govern your use of philipjellen.com and any coaching services provided by Philip Jellen. By booking a session or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Services

I provide personal statement and admissions essay coaching services on a one-on-one basis via Google Meet. Sessions are scheduled through Calendly and confirmed by email.

Payment

Payment is due before or at the time of the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods are Stripe, Venmo, and check. Packages are invoiced in advance. All fees are listed on this website and are subject to change with notice.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be charged the full session fee. I reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to illness or emergency with as much notice as possible.

Refunds

Single sessions are non-refundable once completed. For packages, unused sessions may be refunded at the per-session rate if you choose to discontinue. Refund requests should be submitted to philip@philipjellen.com within 30 days.

No guarantee of outcomes

Coaching services are intended to support your writing and application process. I do not guarantee admission to any program. Results depend on many factors outside my control.

Confidentiality

I treat all client information and application materials as confidential. I do not share your personal information or writing with third parties. With your permission, anonymized descriptions of our work together may be used for professional purposes such as testimonials or teaching examples.

Intellectual property

All written feedback, session notes, and materials I produce remain my intellectual property until full payment is received, at which point they transfer to you for your personal use.

Limitation of liability

My liability for any claim arising from coaching services is limited to the amount you paid for the session or package in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Washington.
